A free trial class will be offered for prospective students interested in Irish dancing. During this class, participants will learn several fundamental Irish dancing steps, along with a simple routine to music. Come try out a class, meet the instructor, and have the opportunity to register for one of our beginner classes being offered!

Beginning on October 6th, we will be offering a 6-week entry/beginning level Irish dance class where participants will learn fundamental Irish dance technique, choreography, and how to count the different types of Irish music. Along the way, dancers will develop and improve flexibility, stamina, make friends, and build confidence! Classes will be taught by Victoria Dunlap of the Dunlap Academy of Irish Dance – a former championship level Irish dancer, who has traveled the world competing and dancing under some of the biggest names in Irish dance.

All classes, including this event will take place outdoors, be socially distant, and comply with all CDC regulations & recommendations. *We will be watching the air quality over the course of these next couple of weeks. In the case that the air quality takes a turn again, we will plan to push this event back until air quality improves.

Space is limited due to physical distancing guidelines, so be sure to reserve you or your dancer's spot soon! We will send a follow up email confirming you or your dancer's spot with additional details regarding recommended attire and the exact meeting place within Civic Park.
